I’d like to believe that part of the reason he’s going to lose is that he is at heart a petty, vindictive sociopath, and the American people won’t put up with this mean-spiritedness any longer.

Sadly, there are very few remaining undecided votes; Trump is trailing by 11.2% (54.1% to 42.9%), leaving only 3% undecided.

Financially, we see that oil, coal and natural gas are going away, just like silver mining left Colorado 125 years ago, and DVD/game/video rental left us in the last decade; it’s an industry with an expiration date, and that’s becoming increasingly clear. It’s why ExxonMobil is traded today at 32.7% of what it was just a few years ago. That’s a lot of evaporated capital, and it’s a signal this sector has no future. (more…)

There is, however, something to note about this: Trump’s support in the U.S. Senate is foundering, as anyone could have predicted it would at election time with Trump 11% down in the national polls.

This is how stupid Putin thinks the average American is, and maybe he’s right.
First, how obvious is it that this is an effort to help Trump, as Americans hate communism?
Secondly, Russia hasn’t been a communist country since 1991.
It’s all so pathetic.

All this reminds me of the vast, and in some cases irreparable, damage he’s done to this formerly great nation.
