We all act amazed when we learn that Trump has labeled the Black Lives Matter movement a “symbol of hate,” or that there are 70K children locked in cages at the southern border, or that Trump is unyielding in his push to preserve Confederate symbols and the legacy of white domination. But actually, it would be more shocking if we weren’t encountering these heart-stopping displays of overt racism on a daily basis.
It’s not an accident that Trump surrounds himself with white supremacists like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller. Hatred is an integral part of the playbook; it’s what makes all this work.
Sarah Cooper’s presence is proof that wonderful things can derive from horrific circumstances (a pandemic kept in place by a sociopathic president).
There are dozens of posts here on the imperative to eliminate money from politics, many of which center around the overturning of the catastrophic U.S. Supreme Court decision “Citizens United,” which enables corporations to spend limitless amounts to influence our elections.

Campers in remote areas can charge their cell phone with this portable wind turbine. Two points:
1) On mountaintops, as shown in the video, this will work, but not in a place of low/no wind, like forests.
2) This competes with a $20 solar phone charger, which will have zero maintenance issues and is much easier to carry and use.
